Research survey: Digital literacy skills in the Bowen Basin mining electrical workforce
CQUniversity researchers are inviting qualified mining electricians and electrician apprentices in the Bowen Basin to complete a short anonymous survey about their experiences using digital tools, systems and technologies in mining electrical work and training.
The survey takes approximately 10 minutes to complete. Your input is important because it will help build a clearer picture of the digital tools electricians and apprentices use, the skills they already have, and the areas where further training or workplace support may be needed. The findings will help inform future training and support for the mining electrical workforce as digital technologies become increasingly important across the sector.
Participants must be 18 years or older. Survey participants are eligible for a $20 voucher. Participants may also choose to express interest in a follow-up interview, with selected interview participants receiving an additional $50 voucher.
