The Resources Centre of Excellence is proud to support Decarbonisation Accelerated and host the Continuing the Conversation 2026 event in Mackay on Thursday 17 September.

This year’s program will focus on implementation, exploring how businesses are responding to change, diversifying, identifying new opportunities and positioning themselves for future growth.

Attendees will hear from leading voices in decarbonisation and diversification, including Arron Wood AM and Deb Archbold, who will share practical insights into navigating change, strengthening competitiveness and identifying future opportunities.

For the first time, the program will also include site tours, giving participants the opportunity to explore local examples of decarbonisation, diversification and innovation in practice.

The event is open to businesses across all industries and provides an opportunity for shared learning, knowledge exchange and connection.
