We are offering an accredited Introduction to Computer-Aided Design (CAD) over 4 days. Queensland Manufacturing Hubs have provided substantial funds to offset this course normally $1,650 p/p.

This short course delivered in-person will provide you with an introduction to both 2D and 3D computer-aided design, no previous experience necessary.
SSMEM0057 Introduction to CAD Skill Set includes 2 units of competancy:
- MEM30031A – Operate Computer-Aided Design (CAD) system to produce basic drawing elements (2D)
- MEM30033A – Use CAD to create and display 3D models
Upon completing these units, students will be able to operate CAD software to produce basic 2D drawings (MEM30031A) and create, manipulate, and display 3D models (MEM30033A). They will gain foundational skills in computer-aided design, enabling them to contribute to technical drawing and design tasks in a manufacturing/engineering setting.
Upon completion you will be able to operate CAD software, gain foundational skills in computer-aided design, enabling technical drawing and design tasks in a manufacturing/engineering workplace.
You will need to bring your own laptop with Windows 10. Please note that apple computers are not compatible with training software.
